Free TRIPOD+ Workshops / Clases Gratuitas de TRIPOD+

TRIPOD+ are free monthly Saturday hands-on science workshops for Spanish Speaking Families at Miami Science Museum! TRIPOD+ son clases de ciencia gratuitas celebradas un sábado cada mes para familias de habla Hispana en el Museo de Ciencias.

Nano Days

Nanotechnology allows scientists to create, explore, and manipulate materials at the atomic scale. This burgeoning science has already given rise to an amazing array of products, like LCD displays, man-made skin, pants that repel water, wound healing bandages, and longer lasting tennis balls! Come learn what Nano Science is all about as we explore current and future applications of this amazing technology with our special demos, hands-on activities, and theater presentations. Done in collaboration with the Nanoscale Informal Science Network (NISE Net).

Fabulous Second Friday

Join us for an evening of laser lights, stars, and more. Free Planetarium Star Show (7 p.m.) and rooftop observatory viewing (8:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., weather permitting.)

Youth Capture the Colorful Cosmos

Get a chance to remotely operate NASA telescopes. Request your own images of galaxies and planets, and process the dark, raw images into spectacular, colorful images of our Universe. April 14, 21 and 28 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please Register, spots are limited!
