Project Summary

Through the use of the internet and field trips students will study the animals and habitats of the Everglades. Each student from Mrs. Rolle class will choose one animal to study. They will observe the habits of their chosen animal.

Mrs. Mestre's class will explore the various habitats of the Everglades, such as the wetlands, hammocks, and hardwood forest. Each group of students will observe the various habitats of the Everglades.

The compiled information will culminate in the descriptions of the habitat, the animal, the carbon dioxide/oxygen cycle, the life cycle, a triangle poem and finally the creation of a book.
