Paper plate, brown construction paper, crayons or paint, shredded brown, yellow, and green paper to make nesting material, small egg-shaped ovals of white paper for making eggs.
Procedure
Draw and cut a two sided pattern of the pterodactyl. Staple only along the head and the front an back of the body, leaving the underside of the body and the wings unstapled. Add facial details. Add a row of staples directly under wings and spread them out to both sides. Spread open the underside of the pterodactyl and staple or glue the pterodactyl to the paper plate. Punch holes and insert yarn to hold hat on. Spread glue on the parts of the nest that are still exposed, and glue on shredded paper and eggs.
