Every Monday at 11:30 a.m. (after Lunch) we went by our school's fish pond and took the temperature of the pond water and discussed and made notes of any physical changes of the tadpoles. This was done for five weeks.
We removed six tadpoles from our school's pond and placed them into a fish tank half filled with pond water and algae. We then placed the tank in our air conditioned classroom. A thermometer was half submerged in the tank's water and secured to it the front of the glass case for viewing.
A classroom log was kept to keep track of all of our observations.
