Emmanuel
Emmanuel worked under the supervision of Dr. Haeng-Ki Lee, in the University of Miami's Structural Engineering Lab.

His research centered on the modeling and simulation of advanced engineering materials that would possess an increased "environmentally compatible" nature. Mathematically, he was challenged with the task of creating and testing formulas involving the elastic modulus of concrete. This type of research involves the testing of the physical properties of concrete such as compression properties, heating properties, and elasticity. Physically, he undertook the task of sizing and measuring wood to create the molds for the concrete, doing internet research for commercial labs to assist in the casting of the concrete, precisely measuring and cutting steel beams, and sandblasting cylindrical beams.
