Loren

Loren's internship took place at the Miami Dade County Medical Examiners Office. Loren interned under Dr. Bruce Hyma, Chief Medical Examiner of Miami Dade County. The Medical Examiner's office is responsible for the investigation of unexpected deaths, suicides, and homicides. While participating in her internship, Loren was also able to enroll in a Death Investigation class, which was offered by the Medical Examiners office to Forensic professionals from around the globe. She was also provided the opportunity to observe /participate in crime scene investigations, autopsies, and active county records management.
