Julienne Jean interned at the Mailman Center for Child Development with the Partnership for the Study and Prevention of Violence. The goal of this program is "NOT ONE MORE CHILD SHALL DIE BY VIOLENCE." Julienne's main focus and responsibility during her internship was to gather information on relationships and circumstances of violent deaths. Based on her research findings, Julienne created Teens Making a Difference as an alternative program for adolescents to participate in. Julienne hopes that Teens Making a Difference will serve to prevent violence by helping build youth leadership through the mixture of music, art and business. The goal of this program is to teach the necessary business skills needed by future young entrepreneurs.
