Alex

 Alex Petit-Homme interned with Nick Pikarsky, Director of Biomedical Computing with the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami’s. Alex learned how to update Windows XP, how to create a web page using html, and he assisted in trouble shooting some of the researchers’ computers. He also set up several video-conferences between the two medical campuses. He learned how to install Macromedia, shockwave, authorware, and Acronis to safe guard the computers in the lab. Alex also learned programming software such as Java, C++ and Python. |
