Sherefa
Sherefa Green interned with Dr. Jeffrey Augenstein, Medical Director for the William Lehman Injury Research Center Ryder Trauma Center at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. She worked with Jessica Garcia (Research Assistant Volunteer) and Luis Labiste, M.D. (Crash Injury Research Analyst U.S Department of Transportation “Crash Study”) at Ryder Trauma Center. Sherefa conducted research on the medical consequences caused by car crashes, the hazards of ignoring seatbelt safety, and she viewed live surgeries.
