Angie

Angie Riviere interned at the Louis and Anne Green Memory & Wellness Center, which has a partnership with Florida Atlantic University, under the supervision of Dr. Ruth M. Tappen EdD, RN, FAAN. The goal the center is "to develop and offer a comprehensive array of innovative services and therapeutic programs specific to the needs of individuals with memory problems and their families." (http://www.fau.edu/memorywellnesscenter) Angie engaged in mind stimulating activities with the participants at the wellness center, entered pertinent data into a comprehensive research database, assisted in providing participants with nutritious meals, and had continuous conversations with each individual, which helped them remember certain events in the day/week.
