Ashley

Ashley Carter interned at Jackson Memorial Hospital s Rehabilitation Center in the Physical Therapy department. Ashley worked along side Patrick Shields, one of the rehabilitation center s physical therapists. Ashley helped patients with various physical challenges during their therapy treatments. She learned the difference between short and long-term pain and treatments. She also helped the department maintain their OSHA standards. After working with a Bells Palsy patient, Ashley was inspired to conduct her own research on the disease, learning its causes and the possible treatment options for those suffering from it.
