The Museum is dedicated to engaging people in science and technology, and to strengthening the field of informal and formal science. A major aspect of this endeavor is to go beyond the walls of the Museum to provide support for teachers, educators and administrators at schools and community organizations. This includes developing curriculum resources, offering professional development opportunities, conducting hands-on field trips, and hosting career days and other events. Through these efforts, the Museum is working to strengthen the capacity of educators to motivate and educate the next generation in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math.
