IRC is often an addictive pasttime. But if you like to talk and meet different people, IRC is the place for you. IRC is not just for fun, either. You can use it to share recipes, swimming holes, and secret vacation spots. Some of the people I chatted with were from Jacksonville, Michigan, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, Japan, and Africa.
My experience on IRC was very intersting at first, but once I started working on my second week I began to find it boring. I find it boring simply because most of the people were being rude. For example, if you ask them a question they are like, "What you want?" or "What you want to know that for?" Even if you tell them ahead of time why you're asking them these questions, they would still be rude. Sometimes the people would even curse at you. The only problem I had with the interviews was that fact that the people was rude. Other than that everything was alright. What I Iiked about IRC was that fact that I thought it was pretty simple and easy. I also like the fact that I could converse with other people about the Internet and learn about different types of programs like VAX and Expander. When I talk to some peolpe they tell me about their culture, jobs, where they live and other stuff. Some of them even exchange favorite recipes with me and their favorite vacation site in that particular country, state or island.
