Welcome to the White House. All you wanted to know about the White House and more! Includes a tour of the White House as well as text of presidential speeches and press releases.

US Senate. The United States Senate's World Wide Web server provides information from Senate committees, members, and leadership. This evolving service also provides general background information about U.S. Senate legislative procedures, Senate facilities in the Capitol Building and Senate history.

The US Census Bureau. As the "Factfinder for the Nation", this bureau collects data about the people and economy of the United States and produces a wide variety of statistical data products including printed reports, statistical briefs, and computer files on tape and CD-ROM.

Thomas. In the spirit of Thomas Jefferson, Thomas is a service of the U.S. Congressional Library. Thomas receives text of legislation files several times daily and the text of the Congressional Record once daily (when Congress is in session). Files are processed and made available upon receipt from the Government Printing Office.

Central Intellegence Agency. The CIA was created in 1947 with the signing of the National Security Act by President Truman. The CIA provides accurate, evidence-based, comprehensive, and timely foreign intelligence related to national security, and conducts counterintelligence activities and other functions related to foreign intelligence and national security as directed by the President.

National Science Foundation. The NSF is an independent Federal government agency established in 1950 by an act of Congress. The agency's mission is to promote the progress of science and engineering.

National Parks Service. NPS is dedicated to conserving the natural and cultural resources of the nation's parklands. Through a variety of programs, NPS extends the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation to people throughout the U.S. and the world.

The Department of the Treasury. This department's mission is to formulate and recommend economic, fiscal and tax policies; serve as financial agent of the United States Government; enforce the law; protect the President and other officials; and manufacture coins and currency.
