Computer animation can be done in 2 dimensions or in 3 dimensions. 2-D animation is a flat, no dimensional series picture just like the movie The Lion King. 3-D animation is usually created in the computer and is the most realistic type of animation. The only example of a 3-D animated movie is the new Disney movie Toy Story. Toy Story took over 4 years to make using several different graphic artist and the latest technology in 3-D animation.
