Howdy and welcome to my page!!!!!!!
My name is Houtan Sareh and I am the instructor for the summer portion of the SFWMD program. I just graduated from the University of Miami School of Arts and Sciences and I am entering the UM School of Medicine next week!!!! YIKES!!
This summer, I have had a great time working with these students. All of them are extremely bright and have great potentials. They went through all the activities discussed in the research page and more! Their work was also the result of this web resource!! There were a lot of projects that we accomplished together in the lab, field, and class. Aside from the work, my favorite part of the program was how we became a team. We always ate together and our trips to Florida Bay were the best!! The entire time driving, we were always making jokes, laughing, and constantly talking about everything imaginable! This brought us much closer as a group. It will be sad to separate when school starts but I am sure that our paths will cross again. Something else I like to mention is that I am very thankful for all the help from Brian and Greta. Brian has lots of patience and care for everyone involved in the program (thanks for the computer use!!) Greta has strong will power and a certain type of motherly-care for all the interns (thanks for the 1/4 desk!!) They are very cool people to work with. Later..... Peace..I am outa here!!!
