Every Sat. from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm I am at the Miami Museum of Sience. The program I am curently in is, Girls RISE.(Raising Interest in Science and Engineering). So far, we have built bridges, worked with electricity, made hand made clocks, balloon powered cars, and gone to the beach to make sand sculptures. Our popcicle bridges were tested recently.

My bridge was well built and tied for first in a competition. The number one bridge held over 100 pounds (we did not have enough weights to find out the exactly how much it holds) The clocks were made out of wire, string, weights, straws and lots of patience. A few weeks ago we went to the beach to make sand sculptures. Our team made an computer, since our creation had to be realated to engineering. We got the computer done during the first half of our trip, and after lunch we successfully made a dolphin in half an hour. So far we have learned many things that are related to both scince and engeniering.
