About Me

My name is Julia. I am in a program at the Museum of Science called Girls RISE It is a pretty cool program. This is where I learned how to do a web page. I am thirteen, I go to Southwood Middle School, I am in the honor program there (I am not in a magnet program). I have green eyes, dirty blond hair, I am about 5ft. 3in. When I grow up I plan on being a Marine Biologist.

About the Girls RISE Program

The things I like about the RISE program is that I get to meet new people. I learn about engineering (which exposed me to areas I did not know) and I can get into the museum for free! The program is stricktly for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade girls (If I make it into the next year, when I am in 8th grade, I get about $400!!) In the past few weeks we have built bridges, made alarm clocks, and made an electrical game. I really enjoy coming here. The Miami Museaum of Science is a cool way to have fun and learn great things about science.
