My full name is Samantha. My last name is Polish .
I plan on learning the following topics : Drama , Pre-algebra , Civics , and any other business topics .
I am very interested in meeting other students who are also interested in these topics . It is very hot in Miami, FL . The temperature often reaches 98 degrees by high noon. I attend Glades Middle School . I am entering the 7th grade.
HOW I GOT INTO RISE :
I became a part of Girls RISE by sending in an application and passing an intense selection process. RISE is program designed to get girls interested in science and engineering . We build circuits and we are making an electrical car for a competition and a line tracker which tracks black lines on white paper . The car will have to climb up a hill of 20 degrees and 3 meters long and will be timed. It will also have to carry a weight of12 ounces and go up a slope. I just love this program .
MY HOBBIES :
I love to swim,skate,and sing. I hope to be on the US Olympic swim team. My favorite type of skating is ice skating. I also like to rollerblade. And I love to sing all types of songs. I espically the like the soundtrack to the movie "The Little Shop of Horrors."
