In this project, we will build and design an electric car. A motor and two batteries are the main source of the energy that make the car running without any manual help (use hand to give a lift.)

Our main concern is the gears. Originally, the hole of the gears did not fit to the axels of the car. First, we use soldering tool to expand the hole. However, this method did not work because the hole was not nicely fit to the axels. They made the car could not go straight. Then, we decided to use a driller machine. It works very well. Now, we have to calculate the gear ratio so that the car will be able to carry twelve ounces of weight. We finally used 16, 42/10, and 60 size gear. We believe they fit to each other.
V. CONCLUSION:
Finally, we have finished building an electric car. Each of us have learned that by connecting the gear ratio correctly, the car will satisfy the requirement of the judge. At last, we overcome the problem of the gear. Our car now able to carry twelve ounces of weight and climb up hill of about twenty degree and three meter long.
