About Where I Live

I live in the one and only best place MIAMI! In Miami you could do alot of fun things such as go to the beach and get a nice tan, movies, roller blade, Hot Wheels, etc...!!! Miami is known for it's bright sunshine. Miami is a very populated city because of the amount of people that live here. I love Miami and I'm proud to live here!

Girls R.I.S.E Program

Girls R.I.S.E Program (Raising Interest in Science and Engineering) program. This program is a very fun, interesting, exciting, and worthwhile!! In this program we are going to be learning and be doing a lot of stuff. The things that we will be learning are how to surf and go on the internet, what circuits are, how to use the computer, and how to build many different things with wires. Some of the projects that we will be doing are making webpages on the internet, electrical circuits and cars, linetrackers, and much more. We will also be going on a lot of fieldtrips to Southside Elementary, University of Miami, and have some woman engineers come to this program and talk to us.This program is directed by Wendie James and it is at The Miami Museum of Science, there are also some mentors that help out, those mentors are Zaily, Janice Gaby, and Phuong.
