We lived in Tampa when they had "The Storm of the Century" in 1993. The weather man had not predicted this wind and flood storm. It took all of the people by surprise and it came during the night. In the morning we found our whole neighborhood was flooded. You could not see the street. You could not see our dock or back yard. Everything was under water. The water came into our garage but stopped short of getting inside.
