Graphing Rainfall
How much does it rain in your neighborhood?
Use the graph below to find out.
Materials
- printed copy of the "Rainfall Graph",
below
- pencil or marker
- rain gauge tool
To print this page:

- PLACE the mouse
pointer on the File menu at the top of the screen.
- CLICK and HOLD
the mouse button down while DRAGGING the pointer to Print.
- RELEASE the
mouse button. The print dialog box is displayed.
- PRESS RETURN.
The rainfall graph will begin to print.
- PRINT one copy
of the rainfall graph for each
STUDY the following sample graph: 
Instructions
- MEASURE the amount of rain each day with
your rain gauge tool.
- MARK the amount of rainfall for each day
on your printed rainfall graph.
- CONNECT the points for all days.
- GRAPH the rainfall in your neighborhood for
several weeks. COMPARE the amount of rain from week to week.
