In Hong Kong, it is improbable to have a large earthquake. However, small tremors sometimes occur.

I remember that when I was taking an examination on Geophysics (the lecturer put emphasis on seismicity in lectures) last year (1995), the examination room have a large shock for a second or two. This makes us very frightened, and so do the chief examiner and the invigilators. However, we don't bother it anyway because we are "chasing" time on the paper.

Later that night, when I looked at the TV news, it reported that there was an earthquake occurred in the neighbouring province. And we realized that we could have written our experience on that paper.
