PRINT the shopping list below. It will help your family buy everything you may need in case of a hurricane. Don't wait until the last minute to make your survival kit; store these supplies throughout hurricane season. (The hurricane season starts June 1st and ends on November 30th each year.)

flashlights
bleach (without additives)
water containers
fuel and fuel can
portable radio
paper towels
trash bags
canned foods
dried fruit
individually packaged drinks
peanut butter and jelly
pet food
prescription medicine
emergency cooking supplies
portable cooler
sleeping bags and blankets
hammer and nails
plywood or storm shutters
