Tina Calandrino, age 32

No amount of preparedness for the storm kept our home and our emotional well being safe. Although we have an older, sturdy home, we had many older trees on our half acre property which blew over or broke, and subsequently created further damage to our wind-torn home. Being inside and hearing the house being pummeled for seemingly endless hours has left me nervous and apprehensive of even the slightest rainstorm. Now we know to keep our trees trimmed, all supplies on hand, and to have entertainment inside. We know that the best plan before, during and after is to be prepared and secure with your family.
