I've lived through several hurricanes that have hit the Virginia coast year after year! The worst that I remember was Agnes that hit in when I was young. We were out of water for 6 days, and no electricity for a week! The Chesapeake Bay rose to the back door! My best friend was caught in a house that a tornado hit, luckily only the roof was blown off!
