Uses of Acids and Bases
Acids are better penny cleaners. In fact,
if you were to leave a penny in vinegar or lemon juice for several
days, small pieces of the penny would eventually start to come
off. Drain cleaners, on the other hand, are mostly bases. Bases
do not damage metal pipes like an acid cleaner would.
