The Miami Museum of Science, in collaboration with Avocado, Pine Lake and Redland Elementary Schools of Miami-Dade County Florida, explore Inventions and the Science of Everyday Things in celebration of Public Science Day 2000. In learning about the things around them and the scientific principles behind these, students and teachers conduct on-line research, visit scientists in their community and create their own inventions.

Learn with them about the history of inventions that have brought us to our present level of technology and the inventions that will take us into the new millenium!
