Creating an Invention

What you'll need

inventors' plan sheet
a creative mind

What to do

Think about a problem that could be solved with a new invention. Describe the problem within the Inventor’s Plan sheet. Be prepared to draw a simple sketch of the invention. Provide step by step directions of how to create your invention. Think about the things that might happen or go wrong. Be prepared for these. What will you do if they occur? What materials will you need?

So What?

As a result of the process that led you to the creation of the invention, you must now share what you did. Focus on the scientific method and how you used it to reach your conclusion and make decisions about your invention.
