Exhibit Photographs - QuickTime VR - Mural

This 20- by seven-foot marine mural was created using acrylic paint on canvas. Over four days, volunteers, visitors, Museum staff and youth had a blast helping nationally renown artists Ray Troll and Roberto Salas paint the mural.

Its subject, sharks, are the most well known of the cartilaginous fish referred to by scientists as "chondrichthyans." This mural features 21 different living and extinct chondrichthyans and one snorkler.
