As a SUPI partner, the Council for Educational Change provides two important functions.
The first is the skills assessment of program participants through the Council’s Educational Leadership Assessment (ELA). The ELA is an online assessment tool, transparent with the new Florida Principal Leadership Standards and their dimensions. The ELA reports strengths and needs to better target and individualize professional development.
The second is the Council’s Accelerated School Administrator Program (ASAP), an online elearning tool, with modules that are transparent with the State Standards and their dimensions. ELA results point to ASAP modules that fulfill professional learning needs.
The online ASAP Leadership Portfolio enables SUPI participants to work at their own pace as well as gives them the ability to update, edit and print their SUPI work.
More information about the Council and the ASAP/ELA tools can be found at: www.changeeducation.org, and also at www.asapportal.com.
