A special feature of the training will center around South Florida's
native Pine Rockland ecosystems, including an educational tour

materials, hands-on activities will prepare educators for school
field trips to this unique habitat. * Ten (10) additional master
plan points may be earned for planning a lesson based on the
content of the inservice training, engaging learners in field
study at Miami Metrozoo, and submitting an assessment of the
lesson along with samples of students' work. Please bring a portable
bottle of water and a sack lunch. The schedule will not allow
