Afterschool Program Exploring Science (APEX Science)

Funded by the National Science Foundation

CIL developed and completed comprehensive field-testing of eight thematic units, designed to enhance hands-on investigative science in after-school programs run by local community-based organizations. CIL staff delivered training to after-school providers at all 87 participating program sites, and also developed and distributed APEX Science Toolkits to each site.
