Classes & Workshops
- Technology Integration Professional Development Solutions (PDF)
The Museum's Technology-Trainer Enhancement Center (T-TEC) has extensive experience in the design and implementation of technology-based professional development programs. T-TEC staff has
developed more than 40 inservice training modules, in use in Florida and throughout the country by tens of thousands of technology staff developers and teachers. All programs are designed to support
national standards for technology, science and/or mathematics. Programs may be customized for your school or district's professional development needs, and may be held at your site or at the Museum.
- ECHOS (Early Childhood Hands-On Science)
Are your students getting enough science in their diet? Don't miss the chance to check out this hands-on workshop designed for the early childhood educator. Participants develop techniques needed to present age-appropriate science concepts using an investigative and interactive format.
- Mateo & Cientina
Join us each month at the Miami Science Museum for our 2009 series of family science and math workshops! The workshops are hands-on, bilingual, free of charge, and designed for the entire family to enjoy. We’ll have snacks for you, and after the workshop, we invite you to stay and check out our Museum!
*Refunds are not issued for camp classes. If for some reason a student needs to withdraw from a class they were previously registered for, a Museum credit will be given. This credit is good for for one year from the date of issue and may be applied to any camp classes or towards a Museum Membership
