Stem Cells: What do we know?

In this stimulating public discussion of stem cells, Professor Lincoln will discuss the science behind the field and provide examples from her own research into heart development. She will describe what is known about stem cells, and explain their promise and limitations. During the open discussion session, Professor Lincoln will answer questions from the audience.

About Dr. Lincoln

Dr. Lincoln is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. A renowned researcher, she graduated from Durham in England after working on blood-related stem cells. After graduation, she worked at the Cincinnati Children?s Hospital for four years, then moved to Miami to run her own lab.
