Miami Science Museum's Eleventh Anniversary Gala, founded in 2003 by Board Chairs Trish and Dan Bell, showcased the new Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science.  Excitement is building towards the opening of this 250,000 SF, $275 million waterfront project with a state of the art aquarium and the world’s first gulfstream tank.

New Museum Images

• The new Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science will welcome visitors with its open promenade and inviting entrance from Museum Park.
• The new Frost Museum of Science will share its new home, Museum Park, with Miami Art Museum. The museums will share a plaza and subterranean parking garage.
• The Frost Museum of Science’s full dome 3-D planetarium will dominate the view from I-395 and Biscayne Boulevard by day and night.
• Designed by Grimshaw Architects of London/New York, the new Frost Museum of Science is an exhibit in and of itself, an exemplar of best practice in energy management and green design.
