NASA's Kennedy Space Center at the Miami Science Museum

Space comes down to Earth at the Miami Science Museum during two educational and fun-filled days with NASA and special guest, Russell Romanela.

On November 9th and 10th special representatives from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center will be at the Miami Science Museum to show just a few of the thousands of spin-offs that the space program has created.

They will also share the latest images from probes such as New Horizons, and form the International Space Station in a special public talk by Miamian Russell Romanela - the man who packs lunches (and everything else) for the International Space Station.

There will be games, interactive displays, give-aways and other out-of-this-world fun!

Learn more about the Shuttle, the International Space Station and other NASA programs through our interactive kiosk. If that isn't enough, see if you have what it takes to be a rocket scientist in Rocket Science 101 or tryout your driving skills with the MARS Rover (also located on our interactive kiosk). Find out more about everyday items that have been developed by the space program, and how their impacting your everyday life (you'd be surprised). Get a brief look at NASA's new launch vehicle ARES I, the vehicle that will be taking us back to the moon.
