About Florida International University’s SPS (Society of Physics Students) As a result of continuing community service, organizing lectures for professors nationwide, expanding the physics community, and the support of the Physics faculty and friends, SPS was awarded Club of the Year by the Student Organization Council chapter in FIU. The SPS Observer - magazine featuring recent news on national SPS chapters - has requested to feature an article regarding Quantum Leap. With events like these, FIU’s SPS chapter continues to grow on-campus, and to educate the local community on the importance of physical science knowledge.
