Monday, December 24: Pressurized
What do marshmallows, balloons, rockets, and tornados have in common? They are all affected by air pressure in interesting ways that you can experiment with!
Wednesday, December 26: Chemistry Creations
Do you ever wonder why certain things explode, pop, fizz, or crackle when you mix them together? Come find out why! Learn to separate magic from science while testing out some experiments that are sure to be hair-raisers!
Thursday, December 27: Zap It!
Explore the shocking world of energy, electricity and magnetism with things that glow, spark, sizzle, and attract.
Friday, December 28: Frozen Science
Perform some amazingly cold hands-on experiments with ice, dry ice, and liquid nitrogen, including how to make ice cream without a freezer, as we explore the science of cool.
Monday, December 31: Float On
Ever wonder why you can float easier in the ocean than a pool. Explore the science behind density and buoyancy and how these concepts allow different things to float and dive.
Wednesday, January 2: I Spy Nano
Where can you find Nano Science? Everywhere! Investigate some of the new and cool things that scientists are doing with nano technology like sand that repels water, tiny robots, and space elevators.
Thursday, January 3: Glow in the Dark Science
Think you know all about light? Come to this camp to learn how to make things glow in the dark.
Friday, January 4: Mad Science
It’s time to break out the lab coats to let your inner mad scientist shine! Experiments you’ll get to see and do include elephant toothpaste, burning salts, child-sized bubbles, and more. Don’t forget your safety goggles!
Classes run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, but before and after care are also available.
Please note: No classes on Christmas or New Years Day
Prices: $45 (Members) / $55 (Non-Members) per child per day
$170 (Members) / $210 (Non-members) for a full week
Before Care: $5 per camper (7:45 am - 9:00 am)
After Care: $12 per camper (4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
