The Miami Science Museum, a national leader in technology training and Internet resource development, offers state-of-the-art videoconferencing equipment and videoconferencing facility rentals. From our Miami, Florida, facility, we can accommodate videoconferences for a few to 240 people. Working with you both prior to and on-site at your event, our expert technical personal will ensure your videoconference is a success. Below are highlights of the Museum's videoconferencing facility rentals and technical capabilities.
Collections Gallery:
- Executive-style seating for up to 21 people around 3 tables.
- Each table contains 7 under-desk mounted Windows-based computers with Internet access via a T1 line.
- Room is beautifully decorated with artifacts from the Museum's pre-Columbian Collections.
- Ability to project videoconference onto large 60" screen
Auditorium Features:
- Tiered seating for 240 people
- Ability to project videoconference onto large 15'x15' screen
- Full stage, projection, lighting and sound capabilities.
Equipment Features:
- PolyCom Viewstation FX and MP Units
- Dual 27" monitor setup
- Document Camera available
- Second camera input capabilities
Connection Capabilities
- 384K ISDN Capabilities (H.320)
- 2 Megabit IP Capabilities (H.323)
- Live video streaming over the Internet available for up to 25 simultaneous connections over our T3 line. Clients would connect using industry standard RealPlayer software
