Explainers

Responsibilities:

• Interact with Museum visitors to explain the scientific principles demonstrated in current exhibits
• Enrich the Museum experience for our visitors by answering questions, offering directions and providing other general information
• Participate or lead special exhibit activities
• Present tours, science demonstrations, and hands-on activities
• Ensures that visitors follow Museum guidelines
• Perform the opening and/or closing procedures for the Museum

School/Group Guides

Responsibilities:

• Attend morning meetings
• Greet groups upon arrival and go over Museum guidelines
• Guide groups through Museum Galleries, Planetarium, and Wildlife Center
• Be knowledgeable of all current Exhibitions, Planetarium, and Wildlife Center
• Present science demonstrations

Birthday Party Host

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and decorate the party room
• Greet party guests
• Serve as a host for the party guests
• Assist with science demonstrations
• Assist with guided tours of galleries
• Assist in the Clean-up of party room
