For nine generations, mortal kombat as been ruled by the finest warriors,Prince Goro. The Earth was on the edge of destriction, when a new generation of warriors, victorious in defending it's realm.

The warrior monk, Liu Kang would become champion throughout, but his victorious was short live as he and his comrades find themselves lured into the out world to compete in a second tournament.

Little did they know that the tournment was just a diversion. A scheme device by the Dark Emperor to break the rules set fourth by the Elders gods and witness the reincornation of the former queen Sindel, on the Earth Realm itself.

This unholy act gives Shao Kahn the power to step through the dimension gates and reclam his queen. Thus unables him to finally seize Earth.

There are trilogy of events that which conprise Shao Kahn's final attempt at taking the Earth.
